Thank you for your interest in working with me. My fees are below. Please note that in-person individual ecotherapy sessions are slightly longer than Zoom ecotherapy sessions, due to the need to walk to an appropriate area to work; the same rate applies for both.

Sliding fee scale will be considered with demonstrated need.  Fees are due at the time of the session. 

Insurance

At this time, I do not take insurance.   

I will provide a monthly super bill that you can submit to them for out-of-network insurance reimbursement. Contact your insurance company regarding out-of-network coverage verification for mental health services prior to scheduling an intake appointment.

Some questions to ask:

Do I have mental health coverage?

What is my deductible and has it been met?  Do I have a separate deductible for mental health?

How many sessions per year does my health insurance cover?
‍
What is the average amount per therapy session for an out-of-network provider? (You may need to provide my zip code, 93105, or the procedure code, 90837.)

Is prior approval required from my primary care physician? 

For those with Medicare and Medi-Cal (also known as Medi-Medi), please note that Medicare as your primary insurance will not cover any portion of services with a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, and Medi-Cal will not cover your services due to Medicare being your primary coverage.  For this reason, I only accept Medi-Medi clients who are will able to pay for their services directly.
